One of the most-often-asked questions we get is, “What’s the return on investment (ROI) of social media?”
It’s A Question We LOVE To Answer
The cartoon above sums it up. There are a lot of social media gurus out there who do all they can to deflect the question. Some are even so defensive (or naïve) as to say, “It’s not really important” or “It can’t really be measured”. Others have come up with substitute terms like “Return On Influence” and “Return On Relationships” so they don’t have to deal with the question. In reality, the concepts behind “Return On Influence” and “Return On Relationships” are valid, insightful, and useful. We talk about them all the time. But, they don’t replace the Return On Investment (ROI) discussion or its relevance—especially for a dental practice.
“Measurement” Is Another Topic
The video content on this page outlines our position on social media ROI for dental practices. Measurement strategy is a related topic not addressed here. Watch soon for our discussion of that topic.
