#30, #31 – Two Social Networking Articles Worthy Of Your Practice’s Attention

By June 13, 2011 September 23rd, 2021 No Comments

EACH WEEK HUNDREDS OF ARTICLES ARE WRITTEN about dental social media strategies and tools. Which ones are worth reading? Which ones are relevant to a dental practice? Which ones have direct application for marketing YOUR dental practice marketing? It can be overwhelming.

One of the benefits of reading this blog is taking advantage of the distillation we do. When it comes to social media articles and posts we’re voracious readers, and have been for the last six+ years. Let us spend the time so you don’t have to. We narrow down digital marketing’s best thinking and pass those links along as a service to you.

We strongly encourage you to take a few minutes and visit the links we pass along. We promise that the content will make a difference in your social media marketing efforts. And, we also promise to only recommend things with direct application for your practice.

30. “5 Social Media Hurdles And How To Overcome Them” by Misty Absher Clark

Misty Absher Clark does a nice job in this article with five simple solutions… “Social media is here to stay. And it is rapidly becoming one of the cornerstones to any good marketing plan. You can choose to start with it now and grow as the medium grows. Or you can wait, let it pass you by, and decide in a few years that you need to start — by then you’ll be playing catch up.”

31. “Why You Need A Facebook Strategy” by Peter Kim

Peter Kim is a big hitter. Smart guy. He has worked with dozens of large brands to formulate and implement social media strategies. He is recognized as a leading thinker on social business. Although some of the things in this article are not as applicable to a small business (like a dental practice) many things are. Check out the example links in the last sentence of the post.
