She said,“We are asking for email addresses at each visit to make sure we are always up-to-date. We also continue to do promos to make sure all of the patients who want to connect with us are.”

When we asked Sheli to share her thoughts about the biggest benefits of social media for THEIR PATIENTS, she replied,“We’ve noticed that our patients love feeling connected to us. It’s a great way to ask questions of us without calling in. The patients and families love that we are online and always providing info.”

Lesson Learned: Your online connections are so convenient for patients, you’ll be surprised how much they appreciate it.

When we asked Sheli to share her thoughts about the biggest benefits of social media for THEIR PRACTICE, she replied,“We like how easy it can be to reach out to our patients and provide them with dental information as well as fun local info. We feel more in tune with the younger generation of parents bringing their kids to us. Our new website has a Facebook logo and we love that families can get all the info about us they need online, if that’s what they are looking for.

Lesson Learned: Staying connected with patients and families between check-ups can have a powerful effect on patient loyalty.


We asked which tools and resources from My Social Practice have been the most helpful. Sheli replied,“The daily posts are great! I also appreciate the links to be able to look and see if I’m doing things correct, such as posting to our Facebook page.”
