We Asked Dr. Parvin Some Questions About How She’s Using Social Media
What has been the biggest surprise of using social media?
“I didn’t realize how much our patients liked hearing from us… So many of our patients come in to their appointments congratulating us on an achievement we’ve posted about or they tell us how much they like seeing our pictures in their feeds.”
What do you feel is the greatest benefit social media marketing offers to your patients?
“Keeping in touch with the office and remaining abreast of promotions and contests we are running in between their appointments.”
What do you feel is the greatest benefit social media marketing gives to your practice?
“Remaining connected to our patients in between their visits. Staying top of mind increases the likelihood of referrals.”
How has My Social Practice helped in your social media marketing?
“My Social Practice took away the hard part—that was coming up with ideas… Also, getting social media accounts set up and providing training on how to use them.”
Dr. Parvin also mentioned that using small boosts on Facebook posts and encouraging team members to comment, like and share practice posts has proven effective. Finally, she said all this takes her less than three hours a week, and encouraged other practices trying social media marketing to “just have fun with it, and it will blossom!”
