LinkedIn Dental Marketing & SEO Value Start With Your Personal Profile
Your Personal Profile Is A Localized Clout-Builder
Have you noticed lately, when you google someone’s name, just how often pages one search results include LinkedIn profiles?
When it comes to taking advantage of LinkedIn’s marketing value for dentists, orthodontists, optometrists or physicians one of the most important things you can do is thoroughly build out your personal LinkedIn profile page.
I’ve found that one of the things most doctors don’t realize is the incredible depth to which they can build out their personal profile. A well-developed LinkedIn profile is essentially a powerful second website. It includes:
- Easily Accessible Contact Information, and a place to post blog articles…
- A Background section to talk about your practice philosophy or to post before and after photos.
- An Experience section where you can embed testimonials…
- Two sections called Organizations and Volunteer Experience where you can talk about the things you’re doing to give back to the community and the world,
- Places to list the languages spoken inside your practice, and any honors or awards you’ve received,
- A section called Projects, where you can list some of the services you offer…
- Under the Skills section, your patients and Linkedin connections can endorse you for specific services and capabilities, such as Invisalign, Implants, or dentures…
- The certifications and Education sections list more details of your background and credentials…
- In addition to patient testimonials, the Recommendations section can include short, personal messages from people in your community that you do business with…
- And finally, the Connections, Groups, and Following sections boost your clout by connecting you in meaningful ways to influencers and organizations that matter…
