Step 1: Fill out the form below to download all three posters. Pick one poster, then have it printed at your local quick-print shop.

Decide 1) on a prize you’d like to give away, 2) on what “hashtag” you want to use (not sure what a hashtag is? Read explanation below.*), and 3) if you’d like to run the promotion weekly, monthly, or just once. If once, choose an ending date.

Use a Sharpie marker to write the three pieces of information on your posters in the spaces provided.
Step 4: Talk It Up!
Hang up the posters in your practice, TALK IT UP with your patients, and decide how you want to randomly choose the winner(s)!
Step 5: View Entries and Pick The Winner(s)
Go to gramfeed and enter your hashtag in the search window to view all the entries and pick the winner(s). Have somebody on your team who has an Instagram account log in to leave a comment on the winning photo! That’s how you’ll notify the winner(s)!
Step 6: Have fun with this! Your patients will!
This promotion is an AWESOME conversation starter for getting your patients involved with your social media efforts. Get your entire team involved and talking up the promotion. Be sure your entire staff understands what Instagram is so they can help educate patients who are not using it yet.
*A hashtag is simply a way to sort and search images on Instagram. It is a “link topic” that—when searched—will display all the photos that share that same hashtag. For example, if you were to take a picture of your dog and include #dog as part of the description, that photo would be added to a public feed with ALL other photos with that same #dog hashtag. For YOUR practice promotion, pick a hashtag that is unique enough that you know nobody has likely ever used it before. For example, if the dentist in your practice is Dr. Scott, you may want to pick #DrScottRocks (NO SPACES, “#” SIGN FIRST) for the hashtag.
