What are SEO experts saying today about local search, as it applies to patient reviews and your practice?
Last week while on a long flight across the country, I was reading a recently published blog post on MOZ entitled, “Stop the Local SEO Tunnel Vision & Think Beyond The Basics”. I started thinking a lot about its application to practice marketing.
In the post, author Casey Meraz says, “It’s cool to rank in the top three results, but our click test studies have shown that many users will bypass the first or second result and click on the third if the number of positive reviews is greater.”
In fact, nearly every SEO expert today is talking a lot about the importance of user reviews for local SEO. It always surprises me to see how many practices are not taking advantage of this marketing strategy that is largely within their control!
